Jake is the Special Projects and Beverage Manager at P.J.W. Restaurant Group, a division created to maintain consistency, oversee and execute all concept projects and beverage purchasing programs for the P.J.W. Restaurant Group’s family of businesses. As part of his role, Jake controls the costs and budgeting for spirits, beer and wine for the company and ensures all new openings adhere to the same high level of quality standard for P.J.W. Restaurant Group.

“June 6, 2001. It was Game 1 of the NBA finals. I remember it like it was yesterday: Sixers vs Lakers, Sixers win. Iverson scores 48. I was working at P.J. Whelihan’s in Haddonfield. The crowd was amazing and the vibe was equally unbelievable. To this day, I remember it as the best game crowd I have been in throughout my P.J.’s career. And I’ve seen a lot of games.”
Jake, who is literally part of the family, has been with P.J.W. Restaurant Group for two decades. His management expertise combined with his passion for hospitality and vast knowledge of craft beer has served him well over the course of his career, enabling him to quickly rise from Restaurant Manager to General Manager and then Regional Management ranks within the P.J.W. Restaurant Group.
A member of the Brewers Alliance and certified Cicerone, Jake currently resides in Barrington, New Jersey, where he continues to educate himself on the craft beer industry by sampling multiple beer styles while watching a game at his favorite spot –we’ll give you one guess.
